Day One ~Taylor

Day One was a (semi) success!!! I did GREAT during the day but then night hits and I cave to temptation!  Tonight we had FHE with my parents, sister, and niece!  It was so fun but we had Taco Bell and chips and salsa! (yikes)  But I'm hoping that the 40 minutes of Turbo Jam made up for it!  Excited for day 2!!!

THE FOOD
Breakfast was egg and veggie wrap with salsa (4pts)


Lunch: Chicken Teriyaki Stir Fry (9 pts)


Snack: one cup of Special K Red Berries Cereal (no milk, 3pts)


Dinner: 2 Bean Burros and chips n salsa (22pts)<--YIKES!


THE EXERCISE

40 minutes; 650 calories burned!


80 oz of water!!! My goal is at least 64 oz a day!

So all of my goals for today were met!!!

I don't even know how I am having time to write this but today has been CRAZY. Nothing has gone according to plan. I guess it's a holiday or something because the gym opened 2 hours later. That set me back a bit. Then when I went the second time to do weights all the benches were in use. AHHHHHH! It's just been one of those days. O plus my gym membership expires tomorrow. So I have to go tonight and get a new membership. Great. And I have 3 kids. And lots of dirty dishes. And a dirty house. Sorry to complain so much. This is just really hard trying to find time. But I'm doing it!!!! I guess that's something to be happy about.

The Plan ~ Taylor

I am super excited to have this awesome blog to keep me on track in my weightloss journey!  My journey started back in October 2010, since then I have lost 40 pounds but in February I hit a plateau and my motivation went out the window!  I am going back to work in August and I want to be at my goal by then so I have 90 days to get my booty in gear!!!  I would like to lose 25 pounds by the end of our 90 day journey (25 pounds in 90 days is possible....right?!)  Ok here's my plan!

FOOD


THE WORKOUTS
GOALS FOR WEEK 1

*45 min of cardio/strength 5 days this week
*Stay within points everyday without using exercise points

REWARD FOR WEEK 1

*A MUCH NEEDED mani/pedi !!!

My Goals-Brooke



So first off, I'm really, really excited to be starting this blog and more importantly starting to work out and eat healthy. I have been at this "starting Monday" phase of an exercise/diet plan way too many times. But I know this time it's going to be different. "Why would it be different?" you might ask.

Well, I'll tell ya;

I have 3 kids now. To some that would seem like even more reason to throw in the towel but it's actually going to be my secret weapon. When I was younger and had a bit more time I would always say I'll exercise later. But right now in my life there is no time for later. It's now or never. Or in reality, nap time. These babies have helped me to really choose between better and best.

I also feel very prepared. I have been planning, setting goals, and really thinking about what I want to do. Also my fridge is stocked and my meals are planned.

I have support. My husband will be eating healthy and exercising. I have a running partner who also wants to get healthier and this blog with Taylor. And anyone reading this.


So with my very strict schedule, preparing myself, and lots of support I am sure I can accomplish my goals.

My goals are:

  • run every morning
  • gym every afternoon
  • eat small meals frequently throughout the day

When I reach my goals of course I will reward myself. Every week I will be rewarded if I accomplish all my daily goals with something that I have decided on the week previous. These are a few things I'm thinking of for my rewards (I love rewards!):

I also really want to take a class from Scrapbook Ect. Maybe this one.

Anyways... I think my first reward will be a real date with my husband; 
going to a movie and walking around Half Priced Books or Bookmans and getting a good book.
